It's amazing to think that scientists can create anything but meat, seriously. I'm happy that I don't eat a lot of meat, however in my country it's not just a cultural heritage but necessity for my countrymen. At least as far as I know. Lots of people have seen and bought meat just to try it out but they can see it's not supposed to look and taste like meat and they simply throw it out. I'm pretty sure it won't be successful in my country but that's just my opinion. I don't like eating meat everyday and I'm definitely considering switching to a vegetarian.
This is an interesting topic. They are already selling lab-grown meat in some countries' restaurants. It is not perfect yet, regarding nutritional value, as it lacks one or two ingredients, but they will get there soon. It will prevent killing animals, we just have to curb their sex drives to prevent overpopulation.
On the flip side, for those farms that may face unemployment, all of them can be retrained to work at labs. These labs will eventually be big as the demand grows. A whole company with different departments and many job opportunities.
