On its 2nd Day, My Biography of RFK Jr. Hits the 2 Top 100 Charts on Amazon for Valid Reasons.
I published this story for Medium friends, too.

Dear friends, I hope you are well. Thank you for the inspiring messages in my email yesterday. I couldn’t respond to all. I also introduced my upcoming biographical book on Medium. Guess what!
While the introduction received over 300K views on Substack and other platforms, it sadly only received 40 views out of my 103K followers on Medium. This disparity indicates that Medium does not distribute stories that readers might want.
There is no network distribution, and our followers and publication followers do not see our stories. I am glad you decided to use Substack as an alternative. I personally don’t care about Medium anymore but I feel sorry for many writers who solely depend on it. It is soul-crushing to have an invisible wall between us and our followers. What the CEO says is BS. Like many, I no longer believe them until they prove to us that distribution happens.
My story was not about writing or Medium meta. It was a story interesting to millions of people in the US for positive or negative reasons. I believe either the algorithm or a junior admistrator saw RFK Jr on the title and just marked it as spam, so only 40 direct links saw it. It is censored, while trivial topics are chosen for Staff Picks or boosted. So Medium is overtly lying to have network distribution. It is BS!
Think about it. If a story is not distributed and no one sees it, how can poor writers get readers? It is unfair to blame writers who pour their hearts and souls but get only a handful and sometimes ZERO views as no distribution happens by default until a junior admistrator or a curator or, by potluck, a boost nominator picks the story.
It is also unfair to readers as they can only see stories that subjective curators of Medium choose. Our editors and most resigned boost nominators like me have no trust in those [unknown] curators, as when we nominated exceptional stories that exceeded boost guidelines, they even rejected them and organically boosted lower content, especially clickbait titles that we did not nominate.
We now have significant evidence that they have only selective distribution manually. As pub owners, we believe that over 99% of stories are not distributed as default. Onlyy 1of % of lucky ones are distributed. No freelance writers can trust this gamble.
Although this publication is for health and wellness, you can still leave comments if you have questions related to writing, marketing, editing, or my Medium publications. I will be happy to help. We are a community with diverse backgrounds and are here to support each other. Reciprocity is a crime on Medium, but it is a virtue on Substack. Therefore, Substack now has 3 times more paying members than Medium, although it started 5 years after it. Soon, in my Content Insights pub, I will introduce you to a best-selling Substack author who started with ZERO subscribers and is not a famous person.
The Purpose of My Story for Health Health Readers Today
That said, I want to shift the focus back to my exciting work. In this short post, I’d like to share a summary of the editorial review of my manuscript, which is published as a preorder.
The editorial team of the book also prepared a half-hour review of the book from multiple angles to give you a quick taste. You can listen to it later. If you enjoy reading a psychoanalytical biography, please feel free to join my beta reading team by leaving a comment on this post.
I’m pleased to report that the pre-order of my book — which includes the introduction and early access for alpha readers — has already reached the two top 100 (#21 & #90) on Amazon charts in Public Affairs and Administration and the top 160 in Cognitive Psychology topics without any public reviews or advertisements out of thousands of books published before and had many reviews.
I understand that it is not about the bio RFK JR, as there are many of them, but it is about the unique approach and methodical rigor to give readers new and original perspectives to understand the cognitive abilities of a complex leader.
I am very grateful for this early recognition of my manuscript. This success demonstrates that readers are eager for this type of content and storytelling style. So, I will continue refining it with beta reading input and sharing it across multiple channels.
If you are interested in joining my beta reading group, please leave a comment on this story, and I will reach out to you as soon as possible.
Editorial Review of “Who Is the Real RFK Jr. & How Cognitive Science Unpacks His Leadership, Influence, & Legacy: A Comprehensive Analysis of Robert F. Kennedy Jr.”
“Dr. Mehmet Yildiz’s new book goes beyond the usual biography of Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Apart from the facts of his life, the books offer an understanding of the deeper layers of his leadership, influence, and legacy.
Using cognitive science and psychology tools, Dr Yildiz takes us through the complexities of RFK Jr. as a human being, not just a popular political figure.
The book shows RFK Jr. as a complex person. Rather than seeing him as a hero or villain, Dr Yildiz helps us understand the biases shaping how we view him. He examines how our brains work and why we see some public figures as truth-tellers and others as threats.
This new perspective challenges our thinking about RFK Jr. The book makes us rethink and change our assumptions with a new understanding.
Although the book’s character is a politician, this book goes beyond his politics. It digs into his personal life and other professional endeavors.
RFK Jr. has had his struggles, especially with addiction and dealing with the shadow of his family’s tragic history. Dr Yildiz doesn’t shy away from vividly depicting these struggles. He shows how these sad and uncontrollable events shaped RFK Jr.’s personality and leadership path.
This humanistic approach in the biography makes RFK Jr. more relatable as a human being and allows readers not to judge him as just a popular name in the news. We believe this approach can show the blindspots of readers who judge the character based on filtered media influence.
One part of the book that stands out is the discussion of RFK Jr.’s spasmodic dysphonia condition. This rare condition affects his voice, making it hard to speak. Many people might see this as a weakness. However, the book shows how RFK Jr. uses it to his advantage. His voice has become a symbol of his authenticity and acceptance of his message.
The author also looks hard at the more significant issues around RFK Jr., like his views on health and trust in the government. Instead of framing these as simple “right” or “wrong,” the book places them within a more extensive discussion. It asks us to think about how the media shapes what we believe and how we view public figures.
This book's approach (diverse and rigorous methodology) makes it different. Dr Yildiz doesn’t just rely on the usual sources. He brings in political analysts, psychologists, mental health experts, and social media researchers.
He even employs AI tools like Google Notebook LM and IBM Watson to identify linguistic patterns and break down how RFK Jr. communicates and how the public perceives him.
These additional tools and contributions from experts, with his scientific investigation, deep analysis, and personal storytelling, make the book a heartfelt, thorough, and well-researched look at how influence works in the modern world.
Although it is published as a biography, this book is more than just a bio of RFK Jr. It is also a study of leadership and how influential people like RFK Jr shape public opinion.
The text does not tell us what to think and how to feel about the book's character. His content and style teach and inspire us to think critically and beyond the box and allow us to feel based on our cognitive filtering.
If anyone is interested in a blend of politics, science, psychology, leadership, and storytelling or wants to understand how influence works in the US, this book offers valuable insights into our cognition, perceptions, and emotions.
One of the manuscript’s most interesting parts is how the author invites readers to contribute during the alpha and beta reading stages.
He encourages readers who agree or disagree with RFK Jr. to share their thoughts. This approach creates a space for a deeper conversation. It can make the book feel like a community project rather than a finished work by an individual author.
“A Comprehensive Analysis of Robert F. Kennedy Jr.” is a book that will make you think differently, and it might even make you feel differently about RFK Jr. It encourages and inspires us to look at RFK Jr. in a new light with credible information.
We found the manuscript insightful, heartfelt, humanistic, and balanced examination of a polarizing figure. As an editorial team, we will make the final version a valuable tool for society before publishing.
We conclude our review by saying this unique book will be delightful for anyone who wants to understand leadership and influence in a complex and polarized country like the US and others.”
I am pleased that five consulting editors who had early access to review the book provided positive feedback and encouraged me to make it a valuable, educational, independent, constructive, insightful, inspiring, and memorable piece for my readers.
